PUPPETS: talking maths, engaging maths, transforming maths

My children are captivated. Even the least confident children want to help the puppet do maths. (Primary teacher, Sandbach)

Puppets can transform learning in your classroom. This engaging hands-on course, which is part of the highly successful PUPPETS Project, shows you how puppets can provide a superb stimulus for talk and learning. It draws on research that identified the value of using puppets to teach mathematics, and enables you to become confident in using puppets yourself. It is suitable for all age ranges (not just young pupils) and teachers working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.

You may be able to take advantage of the special funding arrangements that are available for this course.
