It’s more than just wallpaper!

I love it that Miss . . shares our work. (pupil)

The pegs are really useful for promoting discussion and ideas for improvement. It’s not the prettiest display I’ve ever done but it’s the most useful by a long way. I didn’t think our pupils could talk to each other and give this quality of feedback – just wish I’d had it sooner. (teacher West Midlands)

An image is worth a thousand words. Displays should make the classroom into a learning tool. Do you want to use the walls (and windows) of your classroom to maximise pupils’ learning? All too often pupils cease to notice classroom display after a couple of weeks. This course will explore the value of displays in terms of their learning potential and will consider a variety of ways to make them interactive, engaging pupils without taking up your valuable time.

On this course you will:

  • Develop ideas and strategies for using display as an interactive learning tool
  • Realise the potential of display to develop independent learning skills.

Target audience:

Teachers, headteachers, teaching assistants and trainee teachers

The course lasts for just 2 hours and can be delivered as a twilight in school, to either a single school or partnership of schools.

Available for:
